Backyard Mimosa

This was taken in the courtyard in front of our house in Los Gatos in the early 

1960s.  RTH built the planter and the fence/screen surrounding the courtyard.  

You can see his signature cast stone wall on the right side.

Shy Japanese Kids Pose

Another shot from the playground visit that produced other crowd scenes.  This was very characteristic of Japanese children at the time--you can see that they all want to be in the picture, while not wanting to be in front.

Horse Farm Fences

I'm not sure where this is.  It appears to be a horse farm, and I'd guess

 it belonged to friends.  Taken in or near Virginia in the 1990s.

in this set.    It's captioned Fredricksberg Berry Plain.  1/12/96.

It seems likely that this was taken at a pottery factory in Mashiko.
